Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
October 26, 2009
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., October 26,
2009,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas,
to begin on
October 26, 2009, at
9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of October 19, 2009.

Personnel.

Re-Announce remaining Early Voting locations and hours for the November 3, 2009
General Election:

Early Voting Hours:
1. October 26 - 30,
2009 (Monday thru Friday) - 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
c. Election
Day Voting (Tuesday, November 3, 2009) - 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the
voters precinct polling location.
Recognize County Clerk Shelley Coston for her designation by the Texas
Department of State Health Services as an Exemplary 2009 Five-Star Award
Winning Local Registrar.

Consider approval of renewal of Professional Services Contract between
Bell County (Human Services Department) and Central Texas Workforce
Development Board/Information and Referral System for staffing of 2-1-1
Information and Referral Call Center in Belton.

Consider approval of re-appointment of Pat Patterson for a full two-year
term as Bell County's representative on the board of the Tax Appraisal
District of Bell County, from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2011.

Consider approval of the renewal of Maintenance Agreement between Bell
County and McQuay Factory Service for chiller services. Under the
terms of the existing agreement, the renewal will continue the agreement
for an additional one year beginning December 31, 2009.

Consider approval of acceptance of FY 2009 Emergency Management
Performance Grant (EMPG) in the amount of $13,786 from the Governor's
Division of Emergency Management.

above.
Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
