Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
November 09, 2009
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., November 09,
2009,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas,
to begin on
November 09, 2009, at
9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of November 02, 2009.

County Engineer.
- Consider awarding bids for:
1. Crushed Limestone Base;
2. Aggregate;
3. Reinforcing Steel; and
4. Culvert Pipe.
- Authorize County Engineer to go out for bids for Grade 5 Light Weight.
- Consider approval of Final Plat for Villas del Sol Subdivision, a 9-Lot
Subdivision at the end of Morgan's Point Road, in Precinct 2.
- Consider awarding bid for 2000-gallon Water Tank.
- Consider approval of the 2009 Annual Report to the Texas Commission on
Environmental Quality (TECQ) for the Bell County Phase II MS4 Program.

Personnel.

Recognize Lieutenant Charles Grogan, Bell County Sheriff's
Office Jail Division, on his successful completion of the National Jail
Leadership Command Academy (NJLCA) conducted at Sam Houston State
University, October 25-30, 2009. Lt. Grogan was in the second
graduating class. NJLCA is a collaboration of the American Jail
Association and the Correctional Management Institute of Texas in
cooperation with the National Institute of Corrections and the National
Association of Counties.

Consider report on the savings of $128,814.00 for the first half of 2009
over the first half of 2008 on the purchase of electricity. The
savings being due to Bell County's membership in Public Power Pool, a
collaborative utility buying program through the Conference of Urban
Counties (CUC).

Announce TxDOT public meeting to discuss the expansion of I-35 in Bell
County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Frank Mayborn
Convention Center in Temple.

above.
Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
