Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
December 14, 2009
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., December 14,
2009,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas,
to begin on
December 14, 2009, at
9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of December 07, 2009.

County Engineer.
- Consider authorizing the County Engineer to advertise for bids for the
purchase of the following equipment:
1. Two 5-6 cubic yard dump trucks;
2. Two 12-14 cubic yard dump trucks.
- Consider approval of variance to building set back line on Lots 1 & 2 in
Wildfire Ranch Subdivision, Phase 1.

Personnel.
- Present framed document to Lt. Mary Farley of the Sheriff's Office Jail
Division.

Consider a determination under Texas Local Government Code Section 352.51,
Subsection C, whether conditions on rural acreage not under cultivation for
a period of at least 12 months, are extremely hazardous for the danger of
fire because of high grass or dry vegetation.

If a determination is made that conditions on rural acreage
are extremely hazardous, to consider Order prohibiting the sale, use,
detonating, ignition, or other use of fireworks classified under 49 C.F.R.
part 173.100(r)(2)(10-1-86 edition), as "skyrockets with sticks" and
"missiles with fins" in any portion of the unincorporated area of Bell
County.

Consider authorizing the Bell County H.E.L.P. Center to
apply for TXU Utility Assistance Grant and to provide matching funds.

considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth
above.
Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
