Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
January 04, 2010

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., January 04, 2010, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on January 04, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
 

  1. Consider approval of minutes of December 21, 2009.

  2. County Engineer.

    1. Consider Final Plat Approval for Calhoun First Addition, a replat of Chaparral Estates in Precinct 2.  A replat of Lot 29, Block 1, at the corner of Slawson Lane and Shaw Lane. 
       
  3. Personnel.

  4. Consider approval of resolution for County Judge Jon Burrows to continue to serve on the Conference of Urban Counties Policy Committee for 2010-2011.    

  5. Consider approval of Professors David Guinn and Michael Morrison (Guinn and Morrison, Attorneys) of Waco to provide professional services for the preparation of a redistricting plan and maps of the new boundaries of the Commissioner's Court and Justice Precincts to comport with Texas and federal legal requirements following release of the 2010 census count.

  6. Claims.

            Agenda items may be considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth above.


            Bell County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
            whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
