Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
January 11, 2010

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., January 11, 2010, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on January 11, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
 

  1. Consider approval of minutes of January 04, 2010.

  2. County Engineer.

    1. Consider Final Plat Approval for Calhoun First Addition, a replat of Chaparral Estates in Precinct 2 - a replat of Lot 29, Block 1, at the corner of Slawson Lane and Shaw Lane. 
    2. Consider Final Plat Approval for Sunset Vista Phase 6, in Precinct 3, an 8 Lot Subdivision, off Shaw Road.
    3. Consider awarding bids for purchase of Culverts.
    4. Consider approval of the renaming of "Stacey Road" to "Rafter G Road."
       
  3. Personnel.

  4. Consider approval of Change Order No. 003 between Bell County and Zapalac/Reed Construction Company on the Bell County Multi-Use Facility for modifications of landscape sprinkler, revisions to security system and electrical power modifications for Type "A" light fixtures.     

  5. Consider approval of the expansion of the Scope of Work with Kim Williams Architect to include additional study, evaluation, and management of energy efficiency grant items and related professional fees for Historic Courthouse project.

  6. Consider awarding bid 05-10 for a Service Body for a 3/4 ton F250 pickup for Buildings & Grounds.

  7. Consider awarding the proposal for Fuel Management Services.

  8. Claims.

            Agenda items may be considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth above.


            Bell County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
            whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
