Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
February 08, 2010

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., February 08, 2010, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on February 08, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
 

  1. Consider approval of minutes of February 01, 2010.

  2. County Engineer.

    1. Consider Final Plat approval for Hidden Springs Subdivision, Section One, Lot 84A, located in Precinct 2.
    2. Consider awarding the bid on Multi Terrain Loader. 
       
  3. Personnel.

  4. Conduct Public Hearing regarding a tax exempt financing by the Crawford Education Facilities Corporation for the benefit of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.        

  5. Consider adoption and approval of an Order approving a tax exempt financing by the Crawford Education Facilities Corporation for the benefit of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. 

  6. Discuss and consider approval of the Bell County Investment Policy.

  7. Consider approval of designation of Precinct 2 Commissioner Tim Brown as 2010 Alternate for County Judge Jon Burrows on the Brazos G Regional Water Planning Group. 

  8. Receive report from Richard McGhee, Director of Area Agency on Aging of Central Texas, on the Central Texas Aging and Disability Resource Center Community Living Program, a nursing home diversion program, and the Program's receipt of the 2009 Rosalyn Carter/Johnson & Johnson Leadership in Caring Award.  

  9. Claims.

            Agenda items may be considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth above.


            Bell County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
            whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
