Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
March 16, 2010
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., March 16,
2010,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas,
to begin on March 16, 2010, at
9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of March 01, 2010.

County Engineer.
- Consider approval of the following Traffic Control Device:
1. Install a 30 MPH speed limit on Cedar Cove Road, between Waterworks
Road and Fullview Road.

Personnel.
- Consider approval of consolidation of voting locations for the April 13,
2010 Republican Primary Run-off Election and submission to the Department of
Justice as required.
- Consider approval of purchase of Juror Call System from DAISI Systems &
Service, Inc. to include DAISI Juror iQ System, with software, hardware,
installation, and maintenance as detailed in the Professional Service
Agreement.
- Consider approval of the application by the Temple and Killeen HELP
Centers for CDBG funding from the Cities of Temple and Killeen.
- Announce and encourage the completion of the 10-Question 2010 Census
forms that will be in the mail starting March 15, 2010 and attendance at the
2010 Census Kick-off Rally on Thursday, March 18 at 11:00 a.m. in the Temple
City Council Chambers.
- Consider approval of Change Order No. 004 between Bell County and
Skanska USA Building, Inc. for modifications to Central Jail Renovations to
set Guaranteed Maximum Price that includes the modifications of showers,
toilet/sink units, and privacy screens and other miscellaneous items.
- Consider approval of nomination to fill one of the two voting member
vacancies representing County interests that will occur at the last meeting
of calendar year 2010 on the board of the 37-county Brazos G Regional Water
Planning Group. County Judge Jon Burrows serves as one of those voting
members, but he will have completed the maximum term in 2010.

Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
