Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
April 05, 2010

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., April 05, 2010, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on April 05, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
 

  1. Consider approval of minutes of March 29, 2010.

  2. County Engineer.

    1. Consider authorizing County Auditor to advertise for bids or to purchase off of BuyBoard or other approved consolidated purchasing source certain Road & Bridge Equipment per budget/remaining bond funding to include:
      1.  8 pickup trucks;
      2.  1 heavy duty truck;
      3.  2 tractors; with cab-mowers;
      4.  2 mowers, with zero turn radius;
      5.  2 light 6 c.y. dump trucks; and
      6. 1 watertank.
    2. Consider authorizing County Engineer to purchase a utility trailer.
    3. Consider authorizing County Auditor to advertise for bids for culvert pipes for a 6-month period.
    4. Consider Final Plat Approval for Hidden Springs, Section Two, Lot 51A, located in the E.T.J. of the Village of Salado, in Precinct 2. 
       
  3. Personnel.

  4. Consider approval of Change Order Number 005 between Bell County and the Zapalac/Reed Construction Company for the Bell County Multi-Use Facility, resulting in a $2,724.00 increase in the Contract Sum.

  5. Consider approval of updated service contract with Siemens Industry, Inc. for adding three client user licenses.

  6. Claims.

            Agenda items may be considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth above.


            Bell County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
            whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
