Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
May 03, 2010
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., May 03,
2010,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas,
to begin on May 03, 2010, at
9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of April 26, 2010.

County Engineer.
-
Personnel.
-
Announce Open House-Style Public Meeting for the TxDOT
Statewide Long-Range Transportation Plan 2035 between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00
p.m. (Come an Go) on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at the Central Texas Council of
Governments Building at 2810 North Main Street in Belton.

Recognize Central Texas Youth Services and its Director,
Keith Wallace, for its award as Agency of the Year at the 2010 Central Texas
United Way Appreciation Luncheon.

Consider approval of the continuation of current plan
provisions under Texas County & District Retirement System (TCDRS) with no
changes for Plan Year 2011 for Bell County, County #113, and adoption of
annual contribution rate of 11.11%.

Receive report that Bell County's 2010 payment from the
Texas Tobacco Settlement proceeds is $185,364.83.

Consider approval of Change Order Number 001 on the Historic
Courthouse repairs with TWC Architects in the amount of $2,706.49 for the
addition of 5 electrical circuits not identified in the original estimate of
work with G. Creek Construction.

Consider approval of purchase order with Cremer Technologies
of 24 inmate visitor/inmate visitation stations, 2 fiber optic transceivers,
and 1 DVR and associated equipment at the Central Jail for a total of
$216,296.00, to be tied to and controlled from the Cremer visitation system
at the Loop Jail and determination of exemption from bid procedure under
Local Government Code.

Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
