Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
May 24, 2010
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., May 24,
2010,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas,
to begin on May 24, 2010, at
9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of May 10, 2010.

County Engineer.
- Consider approval of extension of bid #05-10, per the approved existing
contract, with Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions, Inc. for asphalt material (CRS-2,
HFRS-2, and AEP) at the same bid prices.
- Consider approval for County Auditor to go out for bids to sell a 12-G
CAT motorgrader.

Consider approval of Order of Commissioners Court of Bell
County, Texas Authorizing the County Judge to Approve the Issuance of
Hospital Revenue Bonds Issued for the Benefit of Scott and White Memorial
Hospital and Scott, Sherwood and Brindley Foundation, issued in an aggregate
principal amount of not more than $400,000,000 through the Tarrant County
Cultural Education Facilities Finance Corporation, with the approval by Bell
County for the purpose of complying with Section 147(f) of the Internal
Revenue Code.

Consider approval of Audit Engagement Letters for Fiscal
Year ending September 30, 2010.

Consider approval of report of results of County Auction
held on May 13, 2010.

Consider approval of Statement of Work between Bell County
and Managing to Excellence Corporation for Bell County TS Transition
Support.

Consider approval of a purchase order for $54,446.88 with
Perry Office for furniture items needed to move back into the Central Jail
to include the furniture for the Guardian Ad Litem office area. All
items are on TXmas pricing.

Consider the approval of the trading of real property of
Bell County for real property of similar value adjacent to the Expo Center
and authorizing the County Judge to sign all necessary and appropriate
documentation, to include a deed, to complete the transaction and the
payment of any closing costs or expenses.

considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth
above.
Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
