AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on

met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular special session with the

Agenda #1 - Minutes
MINUTE ORDER #375/00: It being nine a.m., JUDGE
BURROWS called the meeting to order and called to the Courts attention the
fact that they had previously received copies of the minutes of November 20, 2000.
Such minutes were approved after amending Minute Order #364/00 to reflect payment for
9-1-1 maintenance from 9-1-1 funds.
Agenda #2a - Salado Prairie Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #376/00: Upon recommendation of the County
Engineer, on motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
SCHILLER, the Court unanimously approved the preliminary plat for Salado
Prairie Subdivision.
- Agenda #2b - Satch Addition Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #377/00: Upon the recommendation of the
County Engineer, on motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
STEPHENSON, the Court unanimously approved the preliminary plat for Satch
Addition Subdivision.
- Agenda #2c - Walnut Creek Estates Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #378/00: Upon the recommendation of the
County Engineer, on motion of COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, seconded
by COMMISSIONER SCHILLER, the Court unanimously approved the
preliminary plat for Walnut Creek Estates Phase II Subdivision.
- Agenda #3 - Bid on Awning
- MINUTE ORDER #379/00: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court
unanimously approved awarding the bid for the awning frame on the Potts Building to
Charles Burton in the amount of $50.00 with a part of the bid being that Mr. Burton remove
such awning at his own expense.
- Agenda #4 - Texas Conference of Urban Counties Aggregation Project, Inc.
- MINUTE ORDER #380/00: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court
unanimously approved rescinding Minute Order #369/00 dated November 20, 2000, and approved
Bell County's joining the Texas Conference of Urban Counties Aggregation Project, Inc for
aggregation of electricity purchasing, approving the project's Articles of Incorporation
and By-Laws; appointing COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON as the County's
Representative to the project; authorized the payment of $1,150.00 in initial dues and
designating Bell County facilities that will participate. The same being attached
hereto and made a part of these minutes.
- Agenda #5 - Victim Assistance Grant
- MINUTE ORDER #381/00: Mrs. Jill A.Hargrove, Executive
Director, Victim Services for the District Attorney's Office appeared before the Court to
present the District Attorney's Office Victim Assistance Grant. After due
discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER
SCHILLER, the Court unanimously approved authorized JUDGE
BURROWS to execute such grant. All according to a copy of the same
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
- Agenda #2d - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #382/00: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court
unanimously approved all employee statues report forms, the same being attached hereto and
made a part of these minutes.
- Agenda #6 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #383/00: The County Auditor presented all
claims for the review of the Court. After proper review, by consensus, the Court
approved all such claims. All according to a copy of the same being of record in the
office of the County Auditor.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
