Agenda #1 - Minutes
MINUTE ORDER #46/01: It being nine a.m., JUDGE
BURROWS called the meeting to order and waived the presentation of the minutes of
January 29, 2001, at the present time.
Agenda #2a - Advertise for bids
- MINUTE ORDER #47/01: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE,
seconded by COMMISSIONER SCHILLER, the Court unanimously approved
authorizing the County Engineer to advertise for bids for the following items:
concrete, hot mix, cold mix, liquid asphalt, and pit run gravel.
- Agenda #2b - Pleasant Hill Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #48/01: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN,
seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved the final
plat of Pleasant Hill Addition Phase Two Subdivision and ordered the same filed for
record.
- Agenda #2c - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #49/01: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, seconded
by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved all employee status
report forms, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
- Agenda #3 - Recognition of Commissioner Brown
- MINUTE ORDER #50/01: JUDGE BURROWS
recognized COMMISSIONER BROWN for his selection as President of
the North American Super Highway Coalition, a coalition working toward making IH 35 the
official highway from the Mexican border to Canada. COMMISSIONER BROWN
gave a short report of that organizations work in this regard.
- Agenda #6 - National Food Checkout Day Proclamation
- MINUTE ORDER #51/01: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded
by COMMISSIONER SCHILLER, the Court unanimously approved a
resolution supporting National Food Checkout Day, the same being attached hereto and made
a part of these minutes.
- Agenda #7 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #52/01: The County Auditor presented all claims for the
review of the Court. After proper review, by consensus, the Court approved all such
claims. All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the
County Auditor. (The Court then went into a workshop session in the Judge and
Commissioners Conference Room to continue discussion of a reimbursement resolution and
other financing alternatives for capital projects and to confer with the County's
Financial advisor on different financial options.)
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
