AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on
this the 4th day of June, 2001, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas,
met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular special session with the

Agenda #1 - Minutes
MINUTE ORDER #181/01: It being nine a.m., JUDGE
BURROWS called the meeting to order and called to the Courts
attention the fact that they had previously received copies of the minutes
of May 29, 2001. He asked if
there were any corrections or additions to the minutes; upon motion of JUDGE
BURROWS, seconded by COMMISSIONER SCHILLER, the
Court approved such minutes after amendment thereto.
Agenda #2a & #2b - Subdivision Plats
- MINUTE ORDER #182/01: The County Engineer
presented the matter of approval of the Blackberry Estates Subdivision and
the Vasicek Subdivision and took no action on the same due to a request by
each developer needing a letter from the servicing water entity and asking
that the same be waived. The matters were delayed pending further
study.
- Agenda #2c - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #183/01: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded
by COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, the Court unanimously approved
all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made
a part hereof.
- Agenda #3 - Budget Amendment
- MINUTE ORDER #184/01: Mr. Tim Leverenz, Director of
the Bell County Communications Center appeared before the Court requesting
an amendment of the Center's budget to add 5 positions for the remainder
of the fiscal year at an approximate cost of $47,000.00; such funds to be
paid out of other line times in the current Communications Center
Budget. After due
discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, seconded by COMMISSIONER
SCHILLER, the Court unanimously approved such amendment to
the budget, all according to a copy of the same attached hereto and made a
part of these minutes.
- Agenda #4 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #185/01: The County Auditor presented
all claims for the review of the Court. After proper review, upon
motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER
SCHILLER, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.
All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the
County Auditor.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
