met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular special session with the

Agenda #1 - Minutes
Agenda #2a - Interlocal agreement with Academy ISD
- MINUTE ORDER #252/01: The County Engineer presented
the matter of an interlocal agreement with the Academy ISD for the
sealcoating of 79,000 square feet of parking lot and 14,000 square feet of
driveway. After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded
by COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, the Court unanimously
authorized JUDGE BURROWS to execute an interlocal agreement
with the Academy ISD for the sealcoating of the parking lot and
driveway.
Agenda #2b - ROW Fencing on Wood Road
- MINUTE ORDER #253/01: The County Engineer presented
the matter of bids for right of way fencing on Wood Road in Precinct
#2. After due discussion, and upon the recommendation of the County
Engineer, on motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded
by COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, the Court unanimously approved
awarding the bid to Larry Pajestka Company of Bartlett in the amount of
$13,642. Such bid being the low bid.
Agenda #2c - Preliminary Plat for Gutierrez
Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #254/01: The County Engineer presented
the matter of a preliminary plat for Gutierrez Subdivision and after due
discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded
by COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, the Court unanimously approved
such preliminary plat.
Agenda #2d - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #255/01: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
STEPHENSON, seconded
by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved
all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made
a part of these minutes.
- Agenda #3 - Berneta Peeples' Award
- MINUTE ORDER #256/01: Susan Kamas, Executive
Director for the Central Texas Workforce Development Board and JUDGE BURROWS
presented BERNETA PEEPLES of the Belton Journal her award
for being selected as Central Texas Workforce Area's 2001 Outstanding
Older Worker.
- Agenda #4 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #257/01: The County Auditor presented
all claims for the review of the Court. After proper review, upon
motion of COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, seconded by COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.
All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the
County Auditor.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
