AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on
this the 26th day of November, 2001, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas,
met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular special session with the

Agenda #1 - Minutes
MINUTE ORDER #405/01: It being nine
a.m., JUDGE
BURROWS called the meeting to order and waived presentation of the minutes
of November 19, 2001, at the present time.
Agenda #2a - Mill Creek Springs Letter of Credit
- MINUTE ORDER #406/01: County Engineer Macchi presented
the matter of the expiration of the letter of credit of Mill Creek Springs
Subdivision. He reported that he recommended the release of such
letter of Credit.
Agenda #2b - Variance - Woods of Owl Creek
- MINUTE ORDER #407/01: The County Engineer presented
the matter of consideration of a variance of the County's Subdivision
Regulations for 1.0 acre parcel adjacent to Lots 12, 13, and 14 of Woods
of Owl Creek Subdivision and recommended the approval of the variance in
the requirement to file an amendment to the Woods of Owl Creek
Subdivision. After due discussion,
upon motion of COMMISSIONER SCHILLER, seconded by COMMISSIONER
BROWN, the Court unanimously approved such variance and ordered
the same filed for record.
Agenda #2c - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #408/01: No personnel was presented.
Agenda #3 - RFP for annual fuel contract
- MINUTE ORDER #409/01: Mr. Russell Williams,
Assistant County Auditor, presented a report on the RFP submitted for the
annual fuel bid. After due discussion, and upon the recommendation
of Mr. Williams, the Court, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN seconded by, COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the
Court unanimously approved awarding such fuel contract to Fuelman of
Austin.
- Agenda #4 - Report of Electric Utility Aggregation Contract by Texas
CUC
- MINUTE ORDER #410/01: Mr. Mark Meyer,
Director of the Building and Grounds Department, presented his report of
the results of the electric utility aggregation contract negotiated by the
Texas Conference of Urban Counties Aggregation Project (TCAP) d/b/a public
power pool, a copy of such report being attached hereto and made a part of
these minutes.
- Agenda #5 - New Voting Precincts
(The Court moved its meeting to the Courts' Conference Room to review the
map of the new election
precincts
for year 2002 for Bell County)
- MINUTE ORDER #411/01: JUDGE BURROWS presented the
new voting precincts for Bell County and asked the Court to review the
same and sign the map to reflect their approval.
- Agenda #6 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #411/01: The County Auditor presented
all claims for the review of the Court. Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court
unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a copy of the
same on record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session and discussed the following
subjects with no
action being taken on such matters; 1) Charles Voelter report on the
Juvenile Probation
Education Building bids; 2) Wells Lane Request; 3) Medical
Insurance update; 4) County
Engineer Matters; and 5) Flood Plain discussion.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
