AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 11th day of March, 2002, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular special session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

  1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

    • MINUTE ORDER #079/02:  It being nine a.m., JUDGE BURROWS called the meeting to order and waived presentation of the minutes of March 4, 2002, at the present time.   



  2. Agenda #2a - Renaming a portion of Maxdale Road

    • MINUTE ORDER #080/02:  Upon motion of COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, seconded by COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, the Court unanimously approved the renaming of a portion of Maxdale Road to Wolfridge Road.  All according to a copy of the same attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.    



  3. Agenda #2b - Personnel

    • MINUTE ORDER #081/02:  Upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms save and except Felix Murray III of the Road and Bridge Department.  The same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes. 



  4. Agenda #3 - Helicopter Interlocal Agreement

    • MINUTE ORDER #082/02:  Sheriff Smith presented the matter of an interlocal agreement between Bell County, Temple, Killeen, and Harker Heights for helicopter usage.  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER SCHILLER, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN,  the Court unanimously approved authorizing JUDGE BURROWS to execute such interlocal agreement on behalf of Bell County with the cities of Temple, Killeen, and Harker Heights. 
          



  5. Agenda #4 - Election Report

    • MINUTE ORDER #083/02:  The County Clerk gave a brief report of election activities and election night procedures for the Democratic and Republican Primaries.  



  6. Agenda #5 - Claims

    • MINUTE ORDER #084/02:  The County Auditor presented all claims for the review of the Court.  Upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same on record in the Office of the County Auditor.          
       
         

      (The Court then went into workshop session and discussed only their items of business on their agenda with no action being taken.)


                   
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
