AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on
this the 6th day of May, A.D. 2002, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas,
met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular special session with the

Agenda #1 - Minutes
Agenda #2a - Interlocal Agreement with the Village
of Salado
- MINUTE ORDER #155/02: The Court considered the
matter of an interlocal agreement with the Village of Salado for the seal
coating of approximately 1.36 miles of road within the Village of Salado.
After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
SCHILLER, the
Court unanimously approved such interlocal agreement. The same being
attached hereto.
Agenda #2b - Annual Work Plan
- MINUTE ORDER #156/02: The Court discussed the
matter of the annual work plan for all Commissioners' Precincts and after
due discussion of each plan, upon motion of COMMISSIONER
BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the
Court unanimously approved all annual work plans for all Commissioners'
precincts, the same being attached hereto.
Agenda #2c - Award bids on Fencing
- MINUTE ORDER #157/02: The County Engineer presented
the bids on right of way fencing for Kuykendall Branch Road, and
recommended the awarding of such bid to the low bidder, L & R Fencing
(Larry Pajestka) in the amount of $23,912.97. After due discussion,
upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
STEPHENSON, the Court unanimously approved such recommendation.
Agenda #2d - ETJ Approval of the Cities of Holland
and Rogers
- MINUTE ORDER #158/02: The County Engineer presented
the Interlocal Agreements with the Cities of Holland and Rogers with
respect to approval of subdivision plats within the ETJ's of both Cities
and recommended their approval. After due discussion,
upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER
SCHILLER, the Court unanimously approved such agreements and
authorized JUDGE BURROWS to execute the same on behalf of
Bell County.
Agenda #2e - Gutierrez Addition Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #159/02: The County Engineer presented
the final amended plat of the Gutierrez Addition Subdivision and
recommended its approval. After due discussion,
upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER
BROWN, the Court unanimously approved such plat and ordered the
same filed for record.
Agenda #2f - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #160/02: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER SCHILLER, the Court
unanimously approved all employee status report forms and ordered the same
filed for record. The same being
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #3 - Waters Consulting Group
- MINUTE ORDER #161/02: The County Auditor
presented the matter of the employment of Waters Consulting Group to
review the County salary plan. After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, the
Court unanimously approved the payment of $6500.00 consultant's fees to
the Waters Consulting Group of Dallas to make such study.
Agenda #4 - Larry Tinsley, Director of APO
- MINUTE ORDER #162/02: Mr. Larry Tinsley, Director of
APO appeared before the Court to present the Court with certificates of
appreciation for their work with his department.
- Agenda #5 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #163/02: The County Auditor presented
all claims for the review of the Court. Upon
motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same on record in the office of the County
Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss items on the workshop
agenda with no action
being taken on any matter.)
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
