AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on
this the 13th day of May, A.D. 2002, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas,
met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular special session with the

Agenda #1 - Minutes
MINUTE ORDER #164/02: It being nine
a.m., JUDGE BURROWS called the meeting to order and called
to the Courts attention the fact that they had previously received copies
of the minutes of April 29 & May 6, 2002. He asked if
there were any corrections or additions to the minutes; there being
none, the minutes were approved as submitted.
Agenda #2a - Hartrick Estates Phase II Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #165/02: The County Engineer presented
the matter of the final plat for Hartrick Estates, Phase II Subdivision
and recommended its approval. Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER
SCHILLER, the
Court unanimously approved the final plat for Hartrick Estates, Phase II
Subdivision, and ordered the same filed for record.
Agenda #2b - Public Hearing for Seven Coves
Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #166/02: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
SCHILLER, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the
Court unanimously approved setting June 24, 2002, at 9 a.m. as the date
and time to hold a public hearing on the replatting of Lots 2, 3, & 4,
Block 3, Tract 5, of the Seven Coves Subdivision.
Agenda #2c - Wells Ranch, Phase III Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #167/02: The County Engineer presented
the matter of final approval of Wells Ranch, Phase III Subdivision and
recommended its approval, subject to receipt of the performance
bond. Upon motion of COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, seconded by COMMISSIONER
BROWN, the Court unanimously approved the final plat for the Wells
Ranch, Phase III Subdivision subject to the receipt of the performance
bond and ordered the same filed for record.
Agenda #2d - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #168/02: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER
STEPHENSON, the Court unanimously approved all employee status
report forms, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these
minutes.
Agenda #3 - Request for Proposals from Director of
Communications
- MINUTE ORDER #169/02: Mr. Tim Leverenz, Director of
Communications for Bell County, Texas, presented his request for
permission to "Request Proposals for Portable and Mobile Radio
Maintenance" for providing portable and mobile radio maintenance to
the County of Bell and Municipalities within Bell County. Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously
authorized such actions. All according to a copy of such
"Request for Proposals" attached hereto.
Agenda #4 - Hill Country Transit District Board
Appointment
- MINUTE ORDER #170/02: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER SCHILLER, the Court
unanimously approved the re-appointment of JUDGE BURROWS to
the Hill Country Transit District Board.
Agenda #5 - Resolution to TxDOT Concerning Loop 363
in Temple
- MINUTE ORDER #171/02: JUDGE
BURROWS presented the matter of a resolution in support of the
City of Temple's request to TxDOT for completion of the Northwest Loop
363. Upon motion of COMMISSIONER SCHILLER, seconded by COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the
Court unanimously approved such resolution.
Agenda #6 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #172/02: The County Auditor presented
all claims for the review of the Court. After proper review, upon
motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County
Auditor.
(The Court then went into Workshop Session and discussed matters on the Workshop
Agenda with no
action being taken on any matter.)
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
