AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on
this the 5th day of August, 2002, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas,
met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular special session with the

Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #278/02: It being nine a.m., JUDGE BURROWS
called the meeting to order and waived the presentation of the
minutes of July 23 and 29, 2002, at the present times.
Agenda #2a - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #279/02: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER SCHILLER, the Court
unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #3 - Interlocal Agreement with CTCOG
- MINUTE ORDER #280/02: The matter of the renewal of
an Interlocal Agreement with the Central Texas Counties of Government for
PSAP expenses for FY 2003 was discussed and after due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER STEPHENSON, the Court unanimously approved
authorizing JUDGE BURROWS to execute the same on behalf of
Bell County.
Agenda #4 - Communications System Agreement
- MINUTE ORDER #281/02: The Court discussed at length
the Communications System Agreement with the cities of Belton, Harker
Heights, Killeen, and Temple on the operations of the Bell County
Communications Center. (Various charts being attached hereto) After
due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER
BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved
the concept of such agreement, the same being attached hereto.
Agenda #5 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #282/02: The County Auditor presented
all claims for the review of the Court. After proper review, upon
motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the Court
unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a copy of the
same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss various items on the
workshop agenda
with no action being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
