Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #423/02: It being nine a.m., JUDGE BURROWS
called the meeting to order and waived presentation of the minutes of
October 28, 2002, at the present time.
Agenda #2a - Release of Maintenance Bond for Bell
Meadows Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #424/02: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER SCHILLER, the
Court unanimously approved the release of the maintenance check previously
posted by the developer of Bell Meadows Subdivision.
Agenda #2b - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #425/02: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
SCHILLER, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously
approved all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto
and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #3 - Public Hearing on Law Enforcement Block
Grant
- MINUTE ORDER #426/02: Sheriff Smith presented the
matter of the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant. He stated that the
grant was for extra deputies; technical equipment, and helicopter
support. JUDGE BURROWS opened the public hearing and
asked if there was any public comment; there being none, the public
hearing was closed.
Agenda #4 - Election Night Report
- MINUTE ORDER #427/02: Mr. Ned Roehrig gave a report
on the plans for the taking and exhibiting of the election returns for the
General Election on November 5. He explained that the results would
be displayed for those present at the Expo Center and paper reports
provided as needed, plus each precinct's result would be provided in real
time on the County's Website.
Agenda #5 - County Clerk's Early vote Total Voters
- MINUTE ORDER #428/02: Vada Sutton, County Clerk,
gave a report about the comparison between the 1998 early voter totals and
the 2002 voter totals. She explained that more people voted early in
2002 than in 1998. She reported that it appeared that more people
were taking advantage of voting early to avoid the lines on election day.
Agenda #6 - RFQ's for Fiber Optic Installation
- MINUTE ORDER #429/02: Upon the recommendation of Mr.
Russell Williams and Ned Roehrig, on motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the
Court unanimously approved rejecting of the RFQ's for Engineering only and
the re-requesting of RFQ's for Engineering only.
Agenda #7 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #430/02: The County Auditor presented
all claims for the review of the Court. Upon
motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the Court
unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a copy of the
same on record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into
Workshop session to discuss
those items on the workshop agenda with
no action being taken on any
item.)
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
