- MINUTE ORDER #001/03: It being nine a.m., JUDGE BURROWS
called the meeting to order and pointed out that the purpose of the
meeting was to swear in the new elected officials and those who were
re-elected. He introduced DISTRICT JUDGE JOE CARROLL who
in turn swore in the following officials, to-wit: Hon. Martha Trudo,
District Judge, 264th Judicial District; Hon. Jon H. Burrows, County
Judge; Hon. Ed Johnson, Judge, County Court at Law #1; Hon. John Barina,
Judge, County Court at Law #2; Hon. Gerald M. Brown, Judge, County Court
at Law #3; Hon. Shelia Norman, District Clerk; Hon. Vada Sutton, County
Clerk; Hon. Charles E. Jones, County Treasurer; Hon. Tim Brown, County
Commissioner, Precinct #2; Hon. John Fisher, County Commissioner, Precinct
#4; Hon. Ted Duffield, Justice of the Peace, Precinct #1; Hon. Don A.
Svadlenak, Justice of the Peace, Precinct #2; Hon. G.W. Ivey, Justice of

Agenda #2 - Official Bonds
- MINUTE ORDER #002/03: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
BROWN,
seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously
approved the following official bonds of County Officials, to-wit:
Jon Burrows, Edward S. Johnson, John Barina, Gerald M. Brown, Shelia
Norman, Vada Sutton, Charles Jones, Tim Brown, John Fisher, Ted Duffield,
Don A. Svadlenak, G.W. Ivey, William (Bill) Cooke, and ordered the same
filed for record.
Agenda #3 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #003/03: The County Auditor presented
all claims for the review of the Court. After proper review, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN,
seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously
approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the
County Auditor.
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
