Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #463/03: It being nine a.m., JUDGE
BURROWS called the meeting to order and called to the Courts
attention the fact that they had previously received copies of the minutes
of November 3, 2003. He asked if there were any
corrections or additions, there being no corrections, the minutes
were approved as submitted.
Agenda #2a - Georgia Creek Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #464/03: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court
unanimously approved the final plat for Georgia Creek Subdivision and
ordered the same filed for record.
Agenda #2b - Fencing on Triangle and Barnes Roads
- MINUTE ORDER #465/03: Upon the recommendation of the
County Engineer, on motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded
by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the Court unanimously approved
awarding the fencing bid for Triangle and Barnes Roads in Precinct #2 to
the low bidder P & C Construction of Belton.
Agenda #2c - Cliffs of Woodlake, Phase II
- MINUTE ORDER #466/03: The matter of the replat of
the Cliffs of Woodlake, Phase II, Subdivision was tabled, pending further
study.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #467/03: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
SCHILLER, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court
unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Victim of Crimes Grant Application
- MINUTE ORDER #468/03: The matter of approval of a
grant submission for Victim of Crimes Act was tabled pending further
study.
Agenda #5 - Bell County Representative to the
Criminal Justice Advisory Board for CTCOG
- MINUTE ORDER #469/03: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court
unanimously approved appointing Assistant County Attorney Jim Nichols to
the Criminal Justice Advisory Board for CTCOG as Bell County
Representative.
Agenda #6 - Workshop to discuss HAVA
- MINUTE ORDER #470/03: JUDGE BURROWS announced
that at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, there would be a workshop on
the federal Help America Vote Act and the state implementation statute
that requires elimination of Bell County's lever voting machines by
January 1, 2006, and the costs involved.
Agenda #7 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #471/03: The County Auditor presented
all claims for the review of the Court. Upon motion of
COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE,
the Court
unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a copy of the
same on record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the
workshop agenda with no action being taken on the same.)
There being no further business, the meeting
was adjourned.
