AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on
this the 17th day of June, A.D. 2004, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas,
met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the

Agenda #1 - Chiller At Expo Center
- MINUTE ORDER #197/04: It being four p.m., JUDGE
BURROWS called the meeting to order and reported to the Court
that the 4 thousand ton chiller at the Bell County Expo Center had gone
out and could no longer be repaired. Mr. Tim Stephens, Manager of
the Expo Center appeared to discuss options with the Court. He
explained that with the upcoming Belton Independence Day Celebration and
Rodeo that it would need replacement. After due discussion, upon
motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
FISHER, the Court unanimously approved the payment by the Expo
budget from the following funds, to-wit: $10,000.00 from the stock
pen roof budget and $60,000.00 from their capital projects budget with the
remaining funds to be paid from Bell County's General Fund not to exceed
$62,000.00.
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
