AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 7th day of March, 2005, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

  1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

    • MINUTE ORDER #82/05:  It being nine a.m., COMMISSIONER CORTESE called the meeting to order and called to the Courts attention the fact that they had previously received copies of the minutes of February 28, 2005.  He asked if there were any corrections or additions to the minutes; there being no corrections, the minutes were approved as submitted.   



  2. Agenda #2 - County Engineer

    • MINUTE ORDER #83/05:  There were no items of business for the County Engineer. 



  3. Agenda #3 - Personnel

    • MINUTE ORDER #84/05:  Upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.  



  4. Agenda #4 - County Surplus Auction

    • MINUTE ORDER #85/05: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the Court unanimously approved setting May 21, 2005 as the date for the next County Surplus Auction with Mr. Bill Hall as the Auctioneer and the location to be the Wildflower Ranch at Salado.   



  5. Agenda #5 - Killeen ISD Resolution of Membership in Bell County Public Health District

    • MINUTE ORDER #86/05:  Mr. Wayne Farrell, District Director of the Bell County Public Health District appeared before the Court to present the matter of the application of the Killeen ISD for admission to the Health District as a "Limited Member."  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved a resolution approving the application of the Killeen ISD for admission to the Health District as a "Limited Member" of such District.  All according to a copy of the same attached hereto and made a part of these minutes. 



  6. Agenda #6 - Authority for Bidding Concerning Bell County Annex in Killeen

    • MINUTE ORDER #87/05:  Upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved authorizing the County Auditor to advertise for bids for the renovation of the two buildings at the Killeen Annex. 



  7. Agenda #7 - Claims

    • MINUTE ORDER #88/05:  The County Auditor presented all claims for the review of the Court.  After proper review, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor. 


      (The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)


              There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
