IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF

BELL COUNTY, TEXAS

June 13, 2005

AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 13th day of June, 2005, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

• MINUTE ORDER #227/05:  It being nine a.m., JUDGE BURROWS called the meeting to order and called to the Courts attention the need to waive presentation of the minutes of May 31, 2005 until a later date.  Consideration of approval of such minutes was waived.   
  
  
  
  

2. Agenda #2a - Consideration of Final Approval of the Plat for Sunset Vista Subdivision

• MINUTE ORDER #228/05:  The County Engineer presented that matter of Approval of the Plat for Sunset Vista Subdivision, section two, a four-lot, 3.685 Acre Development fronting on Shaw Road, Precinct 3.  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved the Final Plat of Sunset Vista Subdivision.   
  
  
  
  

3. Agenda #2b - Consideration of Final Approval of the Plat for Brooking Road Subdivision

• MINUTE ORDER #229/05:  The County Engineer presented the matter of Approval of the Plat for Brooking Road Subdivision, a two-tract, 10 Acre Subdivision off of Brooking Road, Precinct 4.  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN,  the Court unanimously approved the Final Plat of Brooking Road Subdivision.
  
  
  
  

4. Agenda #2c - Consideration for Releasing Letter of Credit No. 610 in the amount of $10,000.00, from First National Bank, Killeen

• MINUTE ORDER #230/05:  The County Engineer presented the matter of Approval for Consideration for releasing Letter of Credit #610 in the amount of $10,000.00 from First National Bank, Killeen for improvements in Chaparral Lee's Acres and accepting a $2.000.00 Letter of Credit from National Bank in Copperas Cove.  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the Court unanimously approved the releasing of Letter of Credit No. 610 in the amount of $10,000.00, and accepting a $2,000.00 Letter of Credit from National Bank in Copperas Cove.    
  
  
  
  

5. Agenda #3 - Personnel

• MINUTE ORDER #231/05:  Upon motion of COMMISSIONER  FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.  
  
  
  
  

6. Agenda #4 - Consider approval of results of Bell County Auction held on May 21, 2005

• MINUTE ORDER #232/05:  Upon motion of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the Court unanimously agreed to table results of Bell County Auction. 
  
  
  
  

7. Agenda #5 - Claims

• MINUTE ORDER #233/05:  The County Auditor presented all claims for the review of the Court.  After proper review, upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor. 
  
  

(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)
