Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #297/05: It being nine a.m., JUDGE
JON H. BURROWS, called the meeting to order and called to the Courts
attention the fact that they had received the minutes of July 18, 2005.
After due discussion, the minutes were approved as corrected.
Agenda #2a - Final Approval of the Plat for
Liberty Oaks
- MINUTE ORDER #298/05: Richard Macchi,
County Engineer presented the matter of approval of the
final plat for Liberty Oaks, Tract One, a 10.669 Acre Development in the
E.T.J. of the City of Temple, off Sparta Road. After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded
by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the Court unanimously approved the
final plat for Liberty Oaks, contingent upon a receipt of letter of credit
and the review of requirements of manufactured housing.
Agenda #2b - Letter of Credit for Terra Bella
Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #299/05: Richard Macchi, County Engineer, presented
the matter of reducing the Letter of Credit for Terra Bella Subdivision
from $75,000 to $25,000 and extending the Letter of Credit to June 18,
2006. After due discussion, upon motion of
COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE,
the Court unanimously approved to reduce the Letter of Credit and extend
the Letter of Credit to June 18, 2006.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #300/05: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
FISHER, the Court
unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Consideration of Burn Ban
- MINUTE ORDER #301/05: Order restricting
outdoor burning will be reviewed August 1, 2005 at Commissioners Court, at
this time no action was taken.
Agenda #5 - Surplus Property
- MINUTE ORDER #302/05: County Auditor, Donna
Eakin, presented the matter to declare a 2000 Dodge Intrepid as
surplus property and to place on Ebay. After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded by
COMMISSIONER LANGE, the Court unanimously approved for the
County Auditor to place the 2000 Dodge Intrepid on Ebay.
Agenda #6 - Cooperative Agreement with the Attorney
General
- MINUTE ORDER #303/05: After due
discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER
BROWN, the Court
unanimously approved Amendment One to Cooperative Agreement between the
Office of the Attorney General of the State of Texas and Bell County dated
September 1, 2003, extending the contract period of State Case Registry
and Local Customer Service through August 31, 2006 and other changes, all
according to a copy of the same being attached hereto and made a part of
these minutes.
Agenda #7 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #304/05: Judge Jon H. Burrows,
County Judge presented the claims for review to the Court. After proper review, upon
the motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the Court
unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a copy of the
same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on
the workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
