AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on
this the 2nd day of September, 2005, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas,
met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the

Agenda #1 - Second Public Hearing on the FY 05-06
Bell County Budget and Tax Rate
- MINUTE ORDER #361/05: JUDGE BURROWS presented
the County's FY 05-06 tax rates and, thereafter opened the public hearing
on such budget. He asked if there were any public comments; Rick
Miller, County Attorney and public citizen of Harker Heights showed his
appreciation to the Commissioner's Court on their longstanding duty to
maintain the tax rate in Bell County. Being no other statements, the
public hearing was closed. Thereafter, the Court discussed the tax
rate with JUDGE BURROWS reporting that such tax rates and budget to
be presented for approval on September 12, 2005 at nine a.m.
Agenda #2 - Recognize Brad Stutzman
- MINUTE ORDER #362/05: Judge Burrows presented
Brad Stutzman, departing reporter for the Temple Daily Telegram with a
certificate of appreciation for his 6 years of covering Bell County and
congratulated him on his new position as managing Editor of the Round Rock
Leader. Judge Burrows also proclaimed September 2, 2005 as
Brad Stutzman Day in Bell County.
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
