Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #383/05: It being nine a.m., Judge
Jon H. Burrows, called the regular meeting of the Commissioner's
Court to order and called to the Courts
attention that they had received the minutes of September 12 and 19, 2005.
After due discussion, the minutes were approved as submitted.
Agenda #2a - Advertise for Bids for Right of
Way Fencing on Berger Road
- MINUTE ORDER #384/05: Richard Macchi, County
Engineer, presented for consideration to advertise for bids for
approximately 1630 feet of Right of Way fencing on Berger Road Pct
3. After due discussion, upon
motion of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved
for the advertisement of bids for fencing on Berger Road.
Agenda #2b - Plat for Chick Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #385/05: Richard Macchi, County
Engineer, presented for authorization the final plat for Chick
Subdivision, Phase IV, a four-lot, 2.42 acre development off of West Amity
Road in the E.T.J. of the City of Troy. After due
discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER
LANGE, the Court
unanimously approved the final plat for Chick Subdivision.
Agenda #2c - Plat for Leighty #2 Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #386/05: Richard Macchi, County
Engineer, presented the final plat of Leighty #2 Subdivision, a
two-lot, 5.0 acre subdivision, being a replat of Leighty Subdivision, in
the E.T.J. of the City of Troy. After
due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by
COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court
unanimously approved the final plat for Leighty #2 Subdivision.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #387/05: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER
LANGE, the Court
unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Declaration of Local Disaster
- MINUTE ORDER #388/05: Judge Burrows presented
for consideration, Declaration of Local Disaster under section 418.108 of
the Texas Government Code, Texas Disaster Act, as of the Governor's
Disaster Declaration on September 20, 2005 and continuing, concerning
Hurricane Rita. After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the Court
unanimously approved Declaration of Local Disaster.
Agenda #5 - Contract Services with SBI Enteris for
Hurricane Katrina
- MINUTE ORDER #389/05: Judge Burrows presented
for approval, the contract services with SBI Enteris for setup of
processes, systems, and management of Hurricane Katrina evacuees.
After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the Court
unanimously approved the contract services with SBI Enteris.
Agenda #6 - Contract Services with SBI Enteris for
Hurricane Rita
- MINUTE ORDER #390/05: This item is waived until
further notice.
Agenda #7 - Re-Appointment of Auditor by District Judges
- MINUTE ORDER #391/05: Donna Eakin, County
Auditor, presented the report of Order of re-appointment of the County
Auditor by District Judges and received the certification of the Auditor's
FY 2005-06 budget. After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER
FISHER, the Court
unanimously approved the receipt of the annual Order certifying the FY
2005-2006 County Auditor's budget. All according to a copy of all
such orders attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #8 - Court Reporter Pay
- MINUTE ORDER #392/05: Donna Eakin, County
Auditor, presented the Orders of the various District Judges
concerning the pay of their Court Reporters and after due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the Court
unanimously approved the receipt of such Orders and the attaching of such
Orders to the minutes of the Commissioner's Court.
Agenda #9 - Advertise for Bids for "Transporting of
Bodies for Autopsies"
- MINUTE ORDER #393/05: Russell Williams, Assistant
Auditor, presented for authorization to advertise for bids to
"Transport Bodies for Autopsies." After due discussion,
upon motion of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER
FISHER, the Court
unanimously approved to authorize the County Auditor to advertise for
bids.
Agenda #10 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #394/05: Judge Jon H. Burrows,
County Judge, presented the claims for review to the Court. After proper review, upon
the motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER
FISHER, the Court
unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a copy of the
same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on
the workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
