AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 31st day of October, 2005, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

  1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

    • MINUTE ORDER #441/05:  It being nine a.m., Judge Jon H. Burrows, called the regular meeting of the Commissioner's Court to order and called to the Courts attention that they had received the minutes of October 24, 2005.  After due discussion, the minutes were approved as corrected.   



  2. Agenda #2a  - Bids on Prime Oil

    • MINUTE ORDER #448/05: After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the Court unanimously approved to allow the County Engineer to advertise for bids on prime oil.  



  3. Agenda #2b - Armstrong Acres

    • MINUTE ORDER #449/05:  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved Armstrong Acres, a 2.49 acre subdivision in the Brewster Creek Subdivision. 



  4. Agenda #2c - Getaway Addition

    • MINUTE ORDER #450/05:  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved Getaway Addition, a 2.55 acre subdivision, in the E.T.J. of the City of Temple. 



  5. Agenda #2d - Rebidding of Fencing

    • MINUTE ORDER #451/05:  Upon motion of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved to advertise for new bids for fencing on Dove Road and Brewster Creek Road. 



  6. Agenda #3 - Personnel

    • MINUTE ORDER #452/05:  Upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.  



  7. Agenda #4 - Change Request for Killeen Annex Project

    • MINUTE ORDER #453/05:  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved Change Request for Killeen Annex Project Building No. 3, for a total of $25,314.00.  This to include break room cabinets, hose bibb, west restroom ADA compliant, and interior finish of west CMU wall & restrooms. 



  8. Agenda #5 - Claims

    • MINUTE ORDER #454/05:  Judge Jon H. Burrows, County Judge, presented the claims for review to the Court.  After proper review, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.  



  9. Agenda #6 - Executive Session

    • MINUTE ORDER #455/05:  (The Court then went into executive session as authorized by Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code regarding Personnel matters.)



             (The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with
             no action being taken on any item.)


              There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
