AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 3rd day of January, 2006, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

  1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

    • MINUTE ORDER #001/06:  It being nine a.m., Judge Jon H. Burrows, called the regular meeting of the Commissioner's Court to order and called to the Courts attention that they had received the minutes of December 19, 2005.  After due discussion, the minutes were approved as presented.   



  2. Agenda #2 - County Engineer

    • MINUTE ORDER #002/06: There were no items to be discussed at this time. 



  3. Agenda #3 - Personnel

    • MINUTE ORDER #003/06:  Upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.  



  4. Agenda #4 - Burn Ban Extension

    • MINUTE ORDER #004/06:  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the Court unanimously approved to extend the Burn Ban an additional 30 days.  



  5. Agenda #5 - Joint Resolution for Primary Election

    • MINUTE ORDER #005/06:  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the Court unanimously approved a Resolution authorizing a Joint Contract between the Bell County Democratic Party Chair, the Bell County Republican Party Chair, and the Bell County Election Officer for the conduct and supervision of the Bell County Joint Primary Election on March 7, 2006, and the Bell County Joint Primary Runoff Election if necessary on April 11, 2006. 



  6. Agenda #6 - Spacesaver Mobile Shelving Systems

    • MINUTE ORDER #006/06:  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved the Spacesaver Shelving Systems from Southwest Solutions Group under the Texas State Contract for new District Courts Building. 



  7. Agenda #7 - Furniture System for new District Courts Building

    • MINUTE ORDER #007/06:  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved Furniture System from Perry Office Plus under Texas State Contract for new District Courts Building not to exceed the amount of $331,414.38.



  8. Agenda #8 - Claims

    • MINUTE ORDER #008/06:  Judge Jon H. Burrows, County Judge, presented the claims for review to the Court.  After proper review, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.  



             (The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with
              no action being taken on any item.)


              There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
