AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 6th day of February, 2006, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

  1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

    • MINUTE ORDER #055/06:   It being nine a.m., Judge Jon H. Burrows, called the regular meeting of the Commissioner's Court to order and called to the Courts attention that they had received the minutes of January 17, 23, & 30, 2006.  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the Court unanimously approved all minutes as corrected.



  2. Agenda #2a - Final Plat for Dove's Landing

    • MINUTE ORDER #056/06:   After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved the final plat for Dove's Landing, a Three-Lot, 2.676 Acre Subdivision on Royal Street. 



  3. Agenda #2b - Final Plat for Schumacher

    • MINUTE ORDER #057/06:    After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved the final plat for Schumacher Subdivision, a Seven-Lot, 6.17 Acre Subdivision, in the E.T.J. of the City of Temple. 




  4. Agenda #2c - Final Plat for Chick Subdivision

    • MINUTE ORDER #058/06:   After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved the final plat for Chick Subdivision, Phase V, a Two-Lot, 1.208 Acre Subdivision, in the E.T.J. of the City of Belton.  



  5. Agenda #2d - Glen Haven Subdivision

    • MINUTE ORDER #059/06:    After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously gave the Preliminary approval of the plat for Glen Haven Subdivision, a Seventeen-Lot, 70.093 Acre Development, in the E.T.J. of the City of Belton.  




  6. Agenda #2e - Chaparral West Phase 4

    • MINUTE ORDER #060/06:    After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the Court unanimously gave Preliminary approval of the plat for Chaparral West Phase 4, in the E.T.J. of the City of Killeen.  




  7. Agenda #2f - Sunset Vista Subdivision

    • MINUTE ORDER #061/06:    After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved the final plat for Sunset Vista Subdivision Section Three, an Eight-Lot, 7.552 Acre Development off of Shaw Road. 




  8. Agenda #3 - Personnel

    • MINUTE ORDER #062/06:  Upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.  



  9. Agenda #4 - Update on Burn Ban

    • MINUTE ORDER #063/06:  Upon motion of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESEthe Court unanimously approved the continuation of the Burn Ban Order and Emergency Order. 



  10. Agenda #5 - Engineer Services Contract

    • MINUTE ORDER #064/06:  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the Court unanimously approved Engineer Services Contract with Alexander Utility Engineering, Inc. for 800 MHz Rebanding for Bell County Communications Center under the General Exemptions of Section 252.022(a)(4) for professional or planning services. 



  11. Agenda #6 - Urban Counties Tech Share Program

    • MINUTE ORDER #065/06:  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously gave approval of participation in Conference of Urban Counties Tech Share program.  



  12. Agenda #7 - FusionBridge Ltd

    • MINUTE ORDER #066/06:  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved for the agreement and Statement of Work with FusionBridge Ltd for Bell County ERP Requirements Support.  



  13. Agenda #8 - Claims

    • MINUTE ORDER #067/06:  Judge Jon H. Burrows, County Judge, presented the claims for review to the Court.  After proper review, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.  




      There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.



             (The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with
              no action being taken on any item.)
