AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on
this the 27th day of February, 2006, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas,
met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the

It being two-thirty p.m., Judge
Jon H. Burrows, called the emergency meeting of the Commissioner's Court
to
order.
Agenda #1 - FEMA
- MINUTE ORDER #101/06: Judge
Jon H. Burrows presented the notice from FEMA of the FEMA decision to
cease funding for the Public Assistance 403 Program for Hurricane Evacuees
effective March 31, 2006 and FEMA's intention to move eligible persons to
the Individual Assistance 408 Program. After due discussion, upon
motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE,
the Court unanimously approved the termination of all dwelling leases,
property leases, and related utility services of the housing program, this
based on a letter from FEMA to Governor Rick Perry dated February 24, 2006
and an email form Texas Senior FEMA Official Representative Denise Worhach,
to Jude Burrows dated February 27, 2006.
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
