Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #136/06: It being nine a.m., Judge
Jon H. Burrows, called the regular meeting of the Commissioner's
Court to order and called to the Courts attention that they had received
the minutes of March 21, 2006. After due discussion, all minutes
were approved as submitted.
Agenda #2a - Interlocal Agreement
- MINUTE ORDER #137/06: After due discussion, upon motion of
COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the
Court unanimously approved the Interlocal Agreement for the sale of cold
mix to the City of Little-River Academy.
Agenda #2b - 2006 Seal Coat Program
- MINUTE ORDER #138/06: After due discussion, upon motion of
COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the
Court unanimously approved the 2006 Seal Coat Program.
Agenda #2c - Plat for Walnut Creek
- MINUTE ORDER #139/06: After due discussion, upon motion of
COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the
Court unanimously approved the preliminary plat for Walnut Creek Phase 7,
a 20-Lot, 41.36 acre subdivision in the ETJ of the City of Killeen.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #140/06: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the Court
unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Change Order #4
- MINUTE ORDER #141/06: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved
Change Order #4 for Bell County Museum Project for the addition of
benches/barriers to give additional protection of the glass wall, and for
changes to the back door to allow for fire personnel access.
Agenda #5 - Tax Abatement Agreement with LJT Texas
Realty, Inc
- MINUTE ORDER #142/06: After due discussion, upon motion of
COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE,
the Court
unanimously approved the Tax Abatement Agreement with LJT Texas Realty,
Inc., as part of the City of Temple Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone
Number One. This following the approval by the City of Temple and
Temple College.
Agenda #6 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #143/06: Judge Jon H. Burrows, County
Judge, presented the claims for review to the Court. After proper
review, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the
County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on
the workshop agenda with
no action being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
