AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on
this the 1st day of May, 2006, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas,
met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the

Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #193/06: It being nine a.m., Judge
Jon H. Burrows, called the regular meeting of the Commissioner's
Court to order and called to the Courts attention that they had received
the minutes of April 25, 2006. After due discussion, the minutes
were approved as presented.
Agenda #2a - Directional Signs
- MINUTE ORDER #194/06: After due discussion, upon
motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the
Court unanimously approved to allow the City of Belton to place signs
directing citizens to the various historical locations. There will
be a total of four signs placed in the downtown area of 2nd and Main
Street.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #195/06: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the
Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same
being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Service Agreement with ACS State & Local
Solutions, Inc.
- MINUTE ORDER #196/06: After due discussion, upon
motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the
Court unanimously approved the Service Agreement with ACS Local &
State Solutions, Inc. for the land records management system in the County
Clerk's Office.
Agenda #5 - SB 1863
- MINUTE ORDER #197/06: After due discussion, upon
motion of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the
Court unanimously approved the Collections Improvement Project Compliance
Plan as required by SB 1863, Article 10, to implement a collection
improvement program.
Agenda #6 - Juvenile Accountability Block Grant Program
Application
- MINUTE ORDER #198/06: After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the
Court unanimously approved the submission of Juvenile Accountability Block
Grant Program Application in support of the Bell County Crime
Coalition.
Agenda #7 - WCID #5
- MINUTE ORDER #199/06: After due discussion, upon motion of
COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the Court
unanimously approved to advertise and bid WCID #5 MIOX Water System
Improvements TCDP Contract No. 724359.
Agenda #8 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #200/06: Judge Jon H. Burrows, County
Judge, presented the claims for review to the Court. After proper
review, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the
County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on
the workshop agenda with
no action being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
