met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the

Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #215/06: It being nine a.m., Judge
Jon H. Burrows, called the regular meeting of the Commissioner's
Court to order and called to the Courts attention that they had received
the minutes of May 15, 2006. After due discussion, the minutes
were approved as presented.
Agenda #2a - Striping of County Roads
- MINUTE ORDER #216/06: Assistant County Engineer,
Tom Berrier, presented the matter to advertise for bids for the
striping of county roads. After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the
Court unanimously approved for the County Auditor to advertise for bids.
Agenda #2b - SH 195, SH 95 and US 190/SH 36 Projects
- MINUTE ORDER #217/06: Assistant , presented the matter of additional payment $11,485.63 to
TxDOT for right of way and utility relocations associated with the SH 195,
SH 95, and US 190/SH 36 projects. After due discussion, upon motion of
COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the
Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2c - Plat for Arthur Addition
- MINUTE ORDER #218/06: Assistant , presented the
plat for Arthur Addition, a one-lot, five acre subdivision at the
intersection of Old Hwy 81 and West Hillyard for final approval. After due discussion, upon motion of
COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the
Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2d - Plat for Kurzyniec Addition
- MINUTE ORDER #219/06: Assistant , presented the
plat for Kurzyniec Addition, a one-lot, 5.907 acre subdivision off of
Oakalla Road, having access by way of a 60' access easement. After due discussion, upon motion of
COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the
Court unanimously approved this plat.
Agenda #2e - Replat of Haddon Hall-Texas
- MINUTE ORDER #220/06: Assistant , presented the
replat of Haddon Hall-Texas, a five-lot, 7.1327 acre subdivision in the
E.T.J. of the Village of Salado. After due discussion, upon motion of
COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the
Court unanimously approved the replat.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #221/06: Upon motion of COMMISSIONER
BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the
Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same
being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Lease with Phil Leibowitz
- MINUTE ORDER #222/06: After due discussion, upon
motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the
Court unanimously authorized for Jon H. Burrows, County Judge to sign a
lease with Phil Leibowitz for 400 E. Central Avenue, Belton, Texas.
Agenda #5 - Audit Engagement Letters
- MINUTE ORDER #223/06: Donna Eakin, County Auditor
presented Audit Engagement Letters for Fiscal Year ending September 30,
2006. After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER
LANGE, the
Court unanimously the matter.
Agenda #6 - Budget Amendment
- MINUTE ORDER #224/06: After due discussion, upon motion of
COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the
Court unanimously approved the budget amendment for the purchase of
passenger van, cage, and equipment for the Sheriff's office to transport
prisoners.
Agenda #7 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #225/06: Judge Jon H. Burrows,
County Judge presented the claims for review to the Court. After proper
review, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER
CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the
County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on
the workshop agenda with
no action being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
