IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF

BELL COUNTY, TEXAS

AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 12th day of June, 2006, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

• MINUTE ORDER #240/06:  It being nine a.m., Judge Jon H. Burrows, called the regular meeting of the Commissioner's Court to order and called to the Courts attention that they had received the minutes of June 5, 2006.  After due discussion, the minutes were approved as presented.
  
  
  
  

2. Agenda #2a - Uniform Rental

• MINUTE ORDER #241/06:  County Engineer, Richard Macchi, presented the Court with the matter of canceling the contract with G&K Services, for uniform rental, and utilizing the buy-board proposal.  After due discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Cortese, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, the Court unanimously approved to cancel the current contract with G&K Services and utilize the Buy Board proposal.
  
  
  
  

3. Agenda #2b - Iduma Trail

• MINUTE ORDER #242/06:  County Engineer, Richard Macchi, presented for consideration, the acceptance of Right Of Way Easement for the Cul-de-Sac on Iduma Trail.  After due discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Cortese, seconded by Commissioner Lange, the Court unanimously approved this matter.  Commissioner Fisher, abstained.
  
  
  
  

4. Agenda #2c - Plat for Northcliffe Phase VIII

• MINUTE ORDER #243/06:  County Engineer, Richard Macchi, presented the Court with the Final Plat for Northcliffe, Phase VIII, a fifteen-lot, 9.784 acre development in the E.T.J. of the City of Temple.  After due discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Cortese, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, the Court unanimously approved the Final Plat for Northcliffe Phase VIII. 
  
  
  
  

5. Agenda #3 - Personnel

• MINUTE ORDER #244/06:  Upon motion of Commissioner Fisher, seconded by Commissioner Lange, the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.  
  
  
  
  

6. Agenda #4 - Amendment to Statement of Work

• MINUTE ORDER #245/06:  Judge Jon H. Burrows presented the matter of approval for Amendment to Statement of Work between Bell County and Lone Star Realty & Property Management, Inc. for management services in the termination of the Bell County Katrina Housing Program.  After due discussion, upon motion of Commissioner Cortese, seconded by Commissioner Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter. 
  
  
  
  

7. Agenda #5 - Claims

• MINUTE ORDER #246/06:   Judge Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court.  After proper review, upon motion of Commissioner Brown, seconded by Commissioner Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.  
  


           (The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with
             no action being taken on any item.)
