met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the

Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #255/06: It being nine a.m., Commissioner
Richard Cortese, called the regular meeting of the Commissioner's
Court to order and called to the Courts attention that they had received
the minutes of June 26, 2006. After due discussion, the minutes
were approved as presented.
Agenda #2a - Emergency Action Plans
- MINUTE ORDER #256/06: County Engineer, Richard
Macchi presented for approval the emergency action plans for Elm Creek
Sites 1, 2, & 10 and Nolan Creek Sites 1, 3, 5A, & 12. After due discussion, upon motion of Commissioner
Brown, seconded by Commissioner
Lange, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #257/06: Upon motion of Commissioner
Fisher, seconded by Commissioner Brown, the
Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same
being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Texas Homeland Security Regional Resource
Response Plan
- MINUTE ORDER #258/06: After due discussion, upon motion of Commissioner
Fisher, seconded by Commissioner Brown, the
Court unanimously approved the Texas Homeland Security Regional Response
Plan for the Central Texas Region.
Agenda #5 - Inmate Telephone Service Provider
- MINUTE ORDER #259/06: Bob Patterson presented the matter
of authorizing County Judge to enter into a contract extension with inmate
telephone service provider. After due discussion, upon motion of Commissioner
Brown, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, the
Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #6 - Purchase of two trailers
- MINUTE ORDER #260/06: Russell Williams, Assistant
County Auditor, presented for authorization the matter to advertise
for bids for purchasing two trailers. After due discussion, upon motion of Commissioner
Fisher, seconded by Commissioner Lange, the
Court unanimously approved for the County Auditor to advertise for bids.
Agenda #7 - County Auction for surplus property
- MINUTE ORDER #261/06: Russell Williams, Assistant
County Auditor, requested to advertise to hold a county auction for
surplus property. After due discussion, upon motion of Commissioner
Brown, seconded by Commissioner Cortese, the
Court unanimously approved for the County Auditor to advertise for holding
the county auction.
Agenda #8 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #262/06: Commissioner Richard
Cortese presented the claims for review to the Court. After proper
review, upon motion of Commissioner Brown, seconded by Commissioner
Cortese, the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All
according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the
County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on
the workshop agenda with
no action being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
