IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF

BELL COUNTY, TEXAS


November 27, 2006


AFTER proper posting of public notice, a copy of which is attached hereto, on this the 27th day of November, 2006, the County Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, met in the Commissioners' Courtroom in Belton, Texas, in regular session with the following members of said Court present, to-wit:

  1. Agenda #1 - Minutes

    • MINUTE ORDER #509/06:  It being nine a.m., Judge Jon H. Burrows called the regular meeting of the Commissioners' Court to order and  called to the Courts attention that they had received the minutes of November 20, 2006.  After due discussion, the minutes were approved as corrected.



  2. Agenda #2 - County Engineer

    • There were no items at this time. 



  3. Agenda #3 - Personnel

    • MINUTE ORDER #510/06:  Upon motion of COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.



  4. Agenda #4 - Agreement with Enterpulse

    • MINUTE ORDER #511/06:  Judge Burrows presented the matter to consider approval of statement of work with Enterpulse for the development of a Request for Proposal (RFP) to secure a Jail Pharmaceutical provider and system capable of integrating with the County's existing Health Services Systems and Accounting Systems.  After due discussion, upon motion of COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the Court unanimously approved this matter.



  5. Agenda #5 - Awarding purchase with Thornell's W-W Distribution Company

    • MINUTE ORDER #512/06:  Judge Burrows presented the matter to consider adoption of an Order by the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas awarding the purchase of certain livestock pen equipment from Thornell's W-W Distribution Company and making certain finds related thereto.  After due discussion, upon motion by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, seconded by COMMISSIONER BROWN, the Court unanimously approved the purchase of the equipment for a total amount of $113,559 and the adoption of the Order, a copy of which is attached to the minutes.  



  6. Agenda #6 - Claims

    • MINUTE ORDER #513/06:  Judge Burrows presented the claims for review to the Court.  After proper review, upon motion of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER CORTESE, the Court unanimously approved all such claims.  All according to a copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor. 



      (The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)


               There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
