Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #514/06: It being nine a.m., Judge
Jon H. Burrows called
the regular meeting of the Commissioners' Court to order and called to
the Courts attention that they had received the minutes of
November 27, 2006. After due discussion, the minutes were approved as
corrected.
Agenda #2a - Plat for Chisholm Oaks
- MINUTE ORDER #515/06: Richard Macchi, County
Engineer, presented the plat for Chisholm Oaks for final approval.
After due discussion, upon motion
of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the
Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2b - Overnight Parking
- MINUTE ORDER #516/06: Richard Macchi, County
Engineer, presented for approval the request by homeowners in Temple
Park Estates to prohibit the overnight parking of commercial motor vehicles
in the subdivision.
After due discussion, upon motion
of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the
Court unanimously approved this matter according with Chapter 545.307 of the
Texas Transportation Code.
Agenda #2c - Price Adjustments
- MINUTE ORDER #517/06: Richard Macchi, County
Engineer, presented for acceptance the price adjustments for HFRS-2 and
AEP purchased from SEM Materials.
After due discussion, upon motion
of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the
Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2d - Maintenance Bond
- MINUTE ORDER #518/06: Richard Macchi, County
Engineer, presented for approval the releasing of Maintenance Bond No.
4346008, Suretec Insurance Co. for improvements in Eagle Oaks at the Lake.
After due discussion, upon motion
of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the
Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2e - Purchases from Etnyre
- MINUTE ORDER #519/06: Richard Macchi, County
Engineer, presented for approval the purchase of an Etnyre Asphalt
Distributor and an Etnyre Chip Spreader from the State Buy Board. After due discussion, upon motion
of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER, the
Court unanimously approved this purchase.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #520/06: Upon motion
of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the
Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Amendment to Agreement
- MINUTE ORDER #521/06: Judge Burrows presented
the matter to Amend Agreement between Limestone County and Bell County for
the Temporary Housing of Inmates, increasing the per diem rate from $42.00
per day to $44.00 per day effective January 1, 2007. After due discussion, upon
motion of COMMISSIONER LANGE, seconded by COMMISSIONER FISHER,
the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #5 - Mutual Aid Agreement
- MINUTE ORDER #522/06: Judge Burrows presented
for approval of Mutual Aid Agreement for fire services and Mutual Aid
Agreement for E.M.S. Services between Bell County and the Cities of Belton,
Temple, Harker Heights, and Killeen, all municipal corporations of Bell
County, and the City of Copperas Cove, a municipal corporation of Coryell
County, Texas. After due discussion, upon motion
by COMMISSIONER FISHER, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the
Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #6 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #523/06: Judge Burrows presented the
claims for review to the Court. After proper review, upon motion
of COMMISSIONER BROWN, seconded by COMMISSIONER LANGE, the
Court unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a copy
of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the
workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
