- MINUTE ORDER #003/07: District Judge Rick Morris,
146th Judicial District Court led the prayer.
Agenda #4 - Pledge of Allegiance
- MINUTE ORDER #004/07: Former County Commissioner,
General Robert Shoemaker, US Army Retired led the Court in the Pledge of
Allegiance to the United States Flag and the State of Texas Flag.

Agenda #7 - Official Bonds
- MINUTE ORDER #007/07: Judge Jon H. Burrows
presented for approval the Official Bonds of all elected, re-elected, and
appointed officials for Bell County. After due discussion, upon motion
of Commissioner Cortese, seconded by Commissioner Lange, the
Court unanimously approved all Bonds.
(Court then took a short recess for a reception for newly sworn in Bell
County Officials)
Agenda #8 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #008/07: Judge Jon H. Burrows
called the regular meeting of the Commissioners' Court back to order and
called to the Courts attention that they had received the minutes of
December 18, 2006. Upon motion of Commissioner Brown, seconded
by Commissioner Lange, the minutes were unanimously approved.
Agenda #9a - Liquid Asphalt
- MINUTE ORDER #009/07: Richard Macchi, County
Engineer, presented
for approval a change in price for liquid asphalt products purchased by the
Road and Bridge Department. After due discussion, upon motion of
Commissioner Cortese, seconded by Commissioner Brown, the
Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #9b- Plat for Walnut Creek
- MINUTE ORDER #010/07: Richard Macchi, County
Engineer, presented
the plat for Walnut Creek Phase 7 Amended. After due discussion, upon
motion of Commissioner Fisher, seconded by Commissioner Brown, the
Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #9c - Tire Collection
- MINUTE ORDER #011/07: Richard Macchi, County
Engineer, announced the Bell County Tire Collection Event. This
will be held January 18-20th at Heidenheimer at the intersection of SH 36
and F.M. 93.
Agenda #10 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #012/07: Upon motion
by Commissioner Brown, seconded by Commissioner Lange, the
Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #11 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #013/07: Judge Burrows presented the
claims for review to the Court. After proper review, upon motion
of Commissioner Brown, seconded by Commissioner Cortese, the
Court unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a copy
of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the
workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
