Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #164/07: It being nine a.m.,
Commissioner Richard Cortese, called the regular meeting of the
Commissioners' Court to order and called to the Courts attention that the
minutes of April 9, 2007
regular session
had been received. After due discussion, these minutes were
approved as presented.
Agenda #2a - Advertise for Bids
- MINUTE ORDER #165/07: County Engineer Richard
Macchi presented for approval authorization to advertise for bids for
liquid asphalt, hot mix, and rip rap rock. After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the
Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2b - Advertise for Bids
- MINUTE ORDER #166/07: County Engineer Richard
Macchi presented for approval authorization to advertise for bids for a
2,000 gallon water tank. After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the
Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #167/07: Upon motion of
Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the
Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Texas Cooperative Extension - Bell County
- MINUTE ORDER #168/07: Following presentation
by staff of Texas Cooperative Extension - Bell County, Commissioner Richard
Cortese presented for approval a Resolution proclaiming the week of April 15
-17, 2007 as National Volunteer Week in Bell County. After due discussion,
upon motion by Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner
Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #5 - Bell County Crime Coalition Juvenile
Accountability Block Grant (JABG)
- MINUTE ORDER #169/07: Commissioner Richard Cortese
presented for approval the submission of grant request for Bell County Crime
Coalition Juvenile Accountability Block Grant (JABG) to continue existing
grant funding supporting the Juvenile Services Department. After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the
Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #6 - Phone system
- MINUTE ORDER #170/07: After due discussion, upon motion of
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the
Court unanimously approved authorizing the County Auditor to sell phone
system on E-Bay.
Agenda #7 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #171/07: Commissioner Richard
Cortese presented the
claims for review to the Court. After proper review, upon motion
of Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese,
the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a
copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the
workshop agenda with no action being
taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
