Agenda #1 - Minutes
- MINUTE ORDER #233/07: It being nine a.m.,
Judge Jon Burrows called the regular meeting of the Commissioners'
Court to order and called to the Courts attention that the minutes of May 21,
2007 regular session had been received. After due discussion, these
minutes were approved as presented.
Agenda #2 - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #234/07: County Engineer Richard
Macchi presented for approval the matter of releasing Letter of Credit
No. 1009, Independent Bank, in the amount of $8,559.35, for maintenance of
improvements in Northcliffe Subdivision, Phase VIII. After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by
Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #235/07: Upon motion of
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the
Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Emergency Management Coordinator
- MINUTE ORDER #236/07: Judge Jon
Burrows presented for approval the appointment of Emergency Management
Coordinator Dennis Baker to be the National Incident Management System (NIMS)
Coordinator for Bell County. After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner John Fisher,
the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #5 - Budget Amendment for Sheriff's Office
- MINUTE ORDER #237/07: After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese,
the Court unanimously approved a Deputy Clerk I position and budget
amendment for Sheriff's Office.
Agenda #6 - Proposals for Employee Health and Dental
Insurance
- MINUTE ORDER #238/07: After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the
Court unanimously approved authorizing the County Auditor to advertise for
requests for proposals for employee health and dental insurance.
Agenda #7 - Public Hearing
- MINUTE ORDER #239/07: At 9:24 a.m. Judge Jon
Burrows opened the public hearing regarding the issuance of Crawford
Health Facilities Development Corporation Mortgage Revenue Bonds (Scott &
White Long Term Acute Care Hospital Project) Series 2007 in a principal
amount not to exceed $16,000,000.00. Mr. Ken Johnston spoke in favor
of the matter. Hearing no other public comments, the public hearing
was closed at 9:25 a.m.
Agenda #8 - Scott & White Long Term Acute Care Hospital
Project
- MINUTE ORDER #240/07: After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese,
the Court unanimously approved the adoption of Order approving the issuance
of Crawford Health Facilities Development Corporation Mortgage Revenue Bonds
(Scott & White Long Term Acute Care Hospital Project) Series 2007 in a
principal amount not to exceed $16,000,000.00. (The bonds are not an
obligation of Bell County and are not payable from any public funds
whatsoever.)
Agenda #9 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #241/07: Judge Jon Burrows presented the
claims for review to the Court. After proper review, upon motion
of Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard
Cortese,
the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a
copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the
workshop agenda with no action being
taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
