- MINUTE ORDER #251/07: It being nine a.m.,
Judge Jon Burrows called the regular meeting of the Commissioners' Court
to order and called to the Courts attention that the minutes of June 11,
2007, regular session had been received. After due discussion, these
minutes were approved as presented.
Agenda #2a - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #252/07: County Engineer Richard
Macchi presented for approval the Final Plat for Terra Bella, Phase II,
a Nine-Lot, 14.679 Acre, privately maintained road, Development off of
Armstrong Road. After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by
Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2b - Brewer Road
- MINUTE ORDER #253/07: County Engineer Richard
Macchi presented for approval adding the widening and reconstruction of
Brewer Road to the 2207 Work Plan. After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner
John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2c - Holland Corn Festival
- MINUTE ORDER #254/07: County Engineer Richard
Macchi presented for approval the authorization for the Road and Bridge
Department to perform work on City of Holland property in support of the
Holland Corn Festival. After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by
Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #255/07: Upon motion of
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the
Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms, the same being
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Agreement for Medical Direction of Emergency
Medical Services Professions Department
- MINUTE ORDER #256/07: Judge Jon
Burrows presented for approval the Agreement for Medical Direction of
Emergency Medical Services Professions Department (a function of Bell County
Communications Center) between Bell County and Scott & White with Dr. Robert
Greenberg, M.D. as the designated physician to serve as medical director. After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Tim Brown,
the Court unanimously approved this matter. A copy of said agreement
is attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #5 - Pharmaceutical Service Provider
- MINUTE ORDER #257/07: After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Tim Brown,
the Court unanimously approved under RFP the selection of Diamond
Pharmaceutical Services as provider for Pharmaceutical Services; and
authorized the County Judge to enter into negotiations on contract terms and
sign a final contract.
Agenda #6 - Skanska Construction Company Change Order
#005
- MINUTE ORDER #258/07: After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese,
the Court unanimously approved Change Order #005 with Skanska Construction
Company for the Bell County Annex and Sheriff's Office Building. A
copy of said Change Order #005 is attached hereto and made a part of these
minutes.
Agenda #7 - The Beltonian Theatre
- MINUTE ORDER #259/07: Belton City Manager Sam Listi,
and Jenifer Sanders d/b/a The Beltonian Theatre, presented for approval the
Tax Abatement Agreement previously approved by the Belton City Council on
June 12, 2007. After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner Tim Brown,
the Court unanimously approved this matter. A copy of said Agreement
is attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #8 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #260/07: Judge Jon Burrows presented the
claims for review to the Court. After proper review, upon motion
of Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard
Cortese,
the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a
copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the
workshop agenda with no action being
taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
