Agenda #1 - Emergency Evaluation of Storm and Flood
Damage
- MINUTE ORDER #272/07: It being 1:30 p.m.,
Judge Jon Burrows called the emergency meeting of the Commissioners' Court
to order. After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by Commissioner
Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved the necessity of an emergency
meeting due to the urgent public necessity to evaluate storm and flood
damage to the cities and rural areas of Bell County, which has caused an
imminent threat to public health and safety, and was a reasonably
unforeseeable situation, and for which immediate action is required.
Agenda #2a - Reports of Storm and Flood Damage
- MINUTE ORDER #273/07: The Court received reports of
storm and flood damage to the cities and rural areas of Bell County, reports
of future flooding/flash flooding dangers and road damage, reports of lake
and river status, reports of emergency responses, and considered responsive
and preemptory actions.
There being no further business, the
meeting adjourned.
Following the meeting, Judge Jon
Burrows issued an Order Declaring a Local State of Disaster dated June 28,
2007, which he renewed by Declaration dated July 5, 2007, copies of which
are attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
