Agenda #1 - Public Hearing on Tax Rates
- MINUTE ORDER #324/07: It being nine a.m.,
Judge Jon Burrows called the special meeting of the Commissioners' Court
to order and in accordance with the Texas Property Tax Code, the
Commissioners Court discussed the proposed FY 2008 Tax Rates for Bell
County, being $0.3795 per $100 valuation; and Bell County Road District,
being $0.0295 per $100 valuation. At 9:02 a.m., Judge Jon Burrows
opened the public hearing. There being no public comments, the
public hearing was closed.
Agenda #2 - Re-announcing Date, Time and Place for
Presentation of the FY 2008 Budget, Public Hearings and Approval of the Budget
and Tax Rates
- MINUTE ORDER #325/07: Judge Jon Burrows
re-announced the following dates, times and places for the presentation of the FY 2008
Budget, Public Hearings and approval of the Budget and Tax Rates with all
meetings to be in the Commissioners' Courtroom:
1. August 20, 2007 at 9:00 a.m., for the presentation
of the Budget, the Public Hearing on the Budget, and the
second Public Hearing on the Tax Rates;
2. August 27, 2007 at 9:00 a.m., for approval of the
Budget and approval of the Tax Rates.
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
