- MINUTE ORDER #431/07: It being nine a.m.,
Judge Jon Burrows called the regular meeting of the Commissioners' Court
to order and called to the Courts attention that the minutes of October 23,
2007 regular session had been received. After due discussion, these
minutes were approved as presented.
Agenda #2a - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #432/07: County Engineer Richard
Macchi presented for approval the final plat for Water Works Landing, a
9-lot, 9.04 acre development in the E.T.J. of the City of Temple, off of
Water Works Road. After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
Richard Cortese, second
by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved
this matter.
Agenda #2b(1) - Awarding Bid for Reinforcing Steel
- MINUTE ORDER #433/07: After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
Richard Cortese, second
by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved
awarding the bid for reinforcing steel to CMC Alamo Steel, Waco, Texas.
Agenda #2b(2) - Awarding Bid for Crushed Limestone
Base
- MINUTE ORDER #434/07: After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
John Fisher, second
by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved
awarding the bid for crushed limestone base to all six bidders whose bids
ranged from $2.50 to $5.25 per ton.
Agenda #2b(3) - Awarding Bid for Culverts
- MINUTE ORDER #435/07: After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
Tim Brown, second
by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved
awarding the bid for culverts to Contech, Taylor, Texas, in the amount of
$90,706.
Agenda #2b(4) - Awarding Bid for Aggregate
- MINUTE ORDER #436/07: After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
Tim Brown, second
by Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved
rejecting the one bid received for aggregate from Capitol Aggregates,
Fairland, Texas, and re-advertising for bids for aggregate.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #437/07: Upon motion by
Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the
Court unanimously approved all employee status report forms with approved
budget amendment, the same being
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Public Safety Interoperable Communications (PSIC)
Grant Program
- MINUTE ORDER #438/07: County Judge Jon Burrows
presented for authorization the application for Public Safety Interoperable
Communications (PSIC) Grant Program. The PSIC Grant Program is a
one-time formula-based, matching grant program to enhance interoperable
communications. After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
Richard Cortese, second
by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this
matter.
Agenda #5 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #439/07: Judge Jon Burrows presented the
claims for review to the Court. After proper review, upon motion
of Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard
Cortese,
the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a
copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the
workshop agenda with no action being
taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
