- MINUTE ORDER #166/08: It being nine a.m.,
County Judge Jon Burrows, called the regular meeting of the
Commissioners' Court to order and called to the Courts attention that the
minutes of April 14, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. regular session had been received. After
due discussion, these
minutes were approved as presented.

- MINUTE ORDER #167/08: Tom Berrier with the
County Engineer's Office presented for approval the final plat for Adams
Subdivision, a One-Lot, 0.52 Acre Subdivision fronting on F.M. 2601. After due discussion,
upon motion by
Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim Brown, the
Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2b - Collier Addition
- MINUTE ORDER #168/08: Tom Berrier, County
Engineer's Office, presented for approval the final plat for Collier
Addition, a One-Lot, 4.3 Acre Subdivision fronting on F.M. 438. After due discussion,
upon motion by
Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim Brown,
the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2c - Lacey Lou Addition
- MINUTE ORDER #169/08: Tom Berrier, County
Engineer's Office, presented for approval the final plat for Lacey Lou
Addition, a Five-Lot, 5.782 Acre Development off of Brewer Road and
acceptance of Letter of Credit No. 632, in the amount of $7,000 from First
State Bank, for the Warranty of Improvements. After due discussion,
upon motion by
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher,
the Court unanimously approved this matter.

and Utility Easement
- MINUTE ORDER #170/08: Tom Berrier, County
Engineer's Office, presented for approval a Drainage and Utility Easement
along the North Fifteen Feet (15') of Lot Nine, Block Five, Woods at Cedar
Oaks, Section Two. After due discussion,

the Court unanimously approved this matter.

the Court unanimously approved May 19, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. for a public
hearing regarding the Abandonment/Vacation of a portion of Iron Bridge Lane.

- MINUTE ORDER #172/08: Tom Berrier, County
Engineer's Office, presented for approval the final plat of Wooley Addition,
a Three-Lot, 2.5 Acre Subdivision in the E.T.J. of the City of Belton, on
Old Golf Course Road. After due discussion,

Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by Commissioner Tim Brown,
the Court unanimously approved this matter.

- MINUTE ORDER #173/08: Tom Berrier, County
Engineer's Office, presented for approval the final plat of Triple Seven
River Estates, Section 4, being a Replat of a portion of Tract 3, Section 2
and Tract 31-B, Section 3, Triple Seven River Estates in the E.T.J. of the
City of Killeen. After due discussion,
upon motion by
Commissioner John Fisher, second by Commissioner Tim Brown,
the Court unanimously approved this matter.

- MINUTE ORDER #174/08: Upon motion by Commissioner
Tim Brown, second
by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved
all employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made
part of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - National Volunteer Week in Bell County
- MINUTE ORDER #175/08: Dirk Aaron,
Bell County Extension Agent introduced the staff of Texas Agri-Life
Extension- Bell County to recognize Bell County Volunteers and the Extension
Hall of Fame, a copy of said presentation is attached hereto and made part
of these minutes. County Judge Jon Burrows presented for approval a
Resolution proclaiming the week of April 21, 2008, as National Volunteer Week in Bell County. After due discussion,
upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by
Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #5 - Bell County Child Welfare Board
- MINUTE ORDER #176/08: County Judge Jon Burrows
presented for approval appointing Christy Montgomery of Harker Heights to
the Bell County Child Welfare Board. After
due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by
Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this
matter.
Agenda #6 - Change Order Number 006 on the Bell
County Jail Addition Project
- MINUTE ORDER #177/08: After due discussion, upon motion by
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher,
the Court unanimously approved Change Order Number 006 on the Bell
County Jail addition project with Skanska USA Building, Inc. that does not
increase the Guaranteed Maximum Price. A copy of said Change Order
Number 006 is attached hereto and made part of these minutes.
Agenda #7 - Audit Engagement Letters for Fiscal Year
ending September 30, 2008
- MINUTE ORDER #178/08: After due discussion,
upon motion by
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher, the
Court unanimously approved Audit Engagement Letters for Fiscal Year ending
September 30, 2008. A copy of said letters are attached hereto and
made part of these minutes.
Agenda #8 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #179/08: County Judge Jon
Burrows
presented the claims for review to the Court. After proper review, upon motion by
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner John Fisher,
the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a
copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the
workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
