Agenda #1 - Public Hearing on Tax Rates
- MINUTE ORDER #340/08: It being nine a.m.
Judge Jon Burrows, called the special meeting of the Commissioners'
Court to order and in accordance with the Texas Property Tax Code and other
applicable law, the Bell County Commissioners Court discussed the proposed
FY 2009 Tax Rates for Bell County, being $0.3779 per $100 valuation; and
Bell County Road District, being $0.0295 per $100 valuation. At 9:10
a.m. Judge Jon Burrows opened the public hearing. There being
no public comments, the public hearing was closed.

Presentation of the FY 2009 Budget, Public Hearings, and Approval of the
Budget and Tax Rates
- MINUTE ORDER #341/08: Judge Jon
Burrows re-announced the following dates, times, and places for the
presentation of the FY 2009 Budget, Public Hearings and approval of the
Budget and Tax Rates, with all meetings to be in the Commissioners'
Courtroom:
1. August 18, 2008 at 9:00
a.m., for the presentation of the Budget, the Public Hearing on the Budget,
and
the
second Public Hearing on the Tax Rates;
2. August 25, 2008 at 9:00
a.m., for the approval of the Budget and approval of the Tax Rates.
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
