County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the
minutes of October 20,
2008, 9:00 a.m. regular session had been received. After due discussion, these
minutes were approved as presented.

- MINUTE ORDER #466/08: County Engineer
Richard Macchi requested authorization to purchase a new Cimline Model
230 DH crack filler off of the Buy Board. After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by
Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2b - Motor Grader and Fork Lift
- MINUTE ORDER #467/08: County Engineer
Richard Macchi requested authorization to advertise for bids for the purchase
of a small motor grader and a fork lift. After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Eddy Lange, second by
Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2c - Chick Addition
- MINUTE ORDER #468/08: County Engineer
Richard Macchi presented for approval the final plat for Chick Addition,
Phase Two, a 10.0 Acre, 13-Lot Subdivision in the E.T.J. of the City of
Belton, fronting on W. Amity Road. After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Tim Brown, second by
Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved this matter.
Agenda #2d - 2008 Texas Commission on Environmental
Quality Report for Bell County Phase II MS4 Program
- MINUTE ORDER #469/08: County Engineer
Richard Macchi presented for approval the 2008 Report to the Texas
Commission on Environmental Quality for the Bell County Phase II MS4
Program. After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by
Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this Report, a
copy of which is attached and made part of these minutes.
Agenda #2e - Pleasant Way Subdivision
- MINUTE ORDER #470/08: County Engineer
Richard Macchi presented for approval the final plat for Pleasant Way
Subdivision, a One-Lot, 5.034 Acre Development in the E.T.J. of the City of
Belton. After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner Richard Cortese, second by
Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved this matter.

- MINUTE ORDER #471/08: Upon motion by Commissioner

by Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved all
employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made part
of these minutes.

Shelley Coston re-announced Early Voting locations and hours for the November 4,
2008 General Election:

B. Remaining Early Voting Hours:

Monday thru Friday) - 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
C. Election Day Voting (Tuesday, November 4, 2008) - 7:00 a.m. to 7:00
p.m. at the voter's precinct polling location.
Agenda #5 - Order Restricting Outdoor Burning
- MINUTE ORDER #473/08: County Judge
Jon Burrows presented for approval the matter of the termination,
modification, or continuation of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning -
Burn Ban. No action taken by the Court and the Order remains in effect
until November 19, 2008.
Agenda #6 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #474/08: County Judge Jon
Burrows
presented the claims for review to the Court. After proper review, upon motion by
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese,
the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a
copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the
workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
