- MINUTE ORDER #507/08:
County Judge Jon Burrows called to the Courts attention that the
minutes of November 17,
2008, 9:00 a.m. regular session had been received. After due discussion, these
minutes were approved as presented.
Agenda #2a - County Engineer
- MINUTE ORDER #508/08: County Engineer
Richard Macchi presented for approval the date of December 15, 2008, at
9:00 a.m. for a public hearing regarding the vacation of a portion of the
Grove Road.
After due discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
Eddy Lange, second
by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved this
date.
Agenda #3 - Personnel
- MINUTE ORDER #509/08: Upon motion by Commissioner
John Fisher, second
by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved all
employee status report forms, the same being attached hereto and made part
of these minutes.
Agenda #4 - Order Restricting Outdoor Burning
- MINUTE ORDER #510/08: County Judge
Jon Burrows presented for approval the matter of the termination,
modification, or continuation of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning -
Burn Ban set to expire on December 01, 2008. The Court took no action
and the Order remains in effect.
Agenda #5 - Schedule of Inmate Co-Pays
- MINUTE ORDER #511/08: After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
Richard Cortese, second
by Commissioner John Fisher, the Court unanimously approved the
schedule of inmate co-pays, including withdrawals from commissary accounts,
for medical, dental, and pharmaceutical services provided to inmates during
incarcerations with implementation in accordance with the establishment of
an inmate account management system. A copy of said schedule is
attached hereto and made a part of these minutes.
Agenda #6 - Jail/Detention Center Medical/Dental RFQ
- MINUTE ORDER #512/08: After due discussion, upon
motion by Commissioner
Tim Brown, second
by Commissioner Eddy Lange, the Court unanimously approved this
Jail/Detention Center Medical/Dental RFQ review team to enter into a
professional service negotiation with a selected dental provider of
providers for the purpose of establishing a mutually agreed on contract(s)
and services delivery price(s) to be brought to the Commissioners Court for
consideration for approval.
Agenda #7 - Child Safety Fee Allocations
- MINUTE ORDER #513/08: Sharon Long, Tax
Assessor/Collector presented a report concerning Child Safety Fee
Allocations to Bell County and Bell County Cities for fees collected from
October 01, 2007 through September 30, 2008 and approval of distribution. After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
John Fisher, second
by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved this
matter. A copy of said report is attached hereto and made part of
these minutes.
Agenda #8 - Kleinfelder Central, Inc.
- MINUTE ORDER #514/08: After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
Tim Brown, second
by Commissioner Richard Cortese, the Court unanimously approved the
renewal of agreement, under Local Government Code Section 262.024 for
professional services, with Kleinfelder Central, Inc. for a period of two
years, with option to renew annually for three more years at terms agreeable
to both parties.
Agenda #9 - Specialized Public Finance, Inc.
- MINUTE ORDER #515/08: After due
discussion, upon motion by Commissioner
Richard Cortese, second
by Commissioner Tim Brown, the Court unanimously approved an
agreement with Specialized Public Finance, Inc. for financial advisory
services.
Agenda #10 - Claims
- MINUTE ORDER #516/08: County Judge Jon
Burrows
presented the claims for review to the Court. After proper review, upon motion by
Commissioner Tim Brown, second by Commissioner Richard Cortese,
the Court unanimously approved all such claims. All according to a
copy of the same being of record in the office of the County Auditor.
(The Court then went into workshop session to discuss those items on the
workshop agenda with no action being taken on any item.)
There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned.
